Welcome to the memorial page for

Mark Schneider

September 2, 2017

Mark J. Schneider, 63, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 Deaconess Hospital after an intense battle with an aggressive cancer, Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma.

Mark was born in Evansville, Indiana to George and Olivia (Altstadt) Schneider. Mark thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, craft beer and home remodeling projects. In 1995, Mark married the love of his life and his best friend, Pamela. Together they joined their families, started an electrical contracting company and acquired and remolded several vacation and personal properties.

Mark has enjoyed spending time at home and on trips with the three wonderful children in his life. He is survived by April Schneider-Diehl, 36; Jessica Schneider, 33 and Devin Essary, 30. He was blessed with five grandchildren-Gavin, Logan, Lleyton, Grace and Avery.

Mark was very close to his siblings. He now joins his oldest brother Steve. He is survived by his sister, Debra Roby of Evansville, IN; and his brother, Tom Schneider of Minneapolis, MN.

There will be a private gathering for immediate family members at Maple Hill Cemetery in New Harmony, Indiana. I do not want a large funeral service and would like any memorial contributions to go to the American Cancer Society. https://pms2017.wixsite.com/fightcancerwmark. Please visit Mark’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/mark.schneider.549 for more.

Pamela, April, Jessica and Devin would like for you to join them at the Gerst House on Tuesday, September the 12 at 6:00 p.m. Please stop by and grab a beer and lets all give a Toast to Mark Joseph Schneider, the wonderful man that is called Husband, Dad and Friend.
