Remembering A Life Lived
Stanley R. Slonka 70 of Mt. Vernon, IN passed away Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Linda E. White Hospice House. He was born on October 4, 1948 in Buffalo, New York to Joseph and Mary Slonka.
Stanley served in the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War.
Stanley is survived by his wife Dorothy (Higgs) Slonkia of Mt. Vernon. A son Mark Easter of California, and Daughter-in-Law Rhonda Easter of Mt. Vernon. Stanley is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and several Great-Grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents, and son; Bobby Easter.
A private burial will be held at a later date. Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon is in charge of arrangements.
