Karen Whitley

Karen Ann Whitley, 60 of Enfield, passed away Thursday June 13, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville. She was born October 8, 1958 in Carmi, the daughter of Jack Jordan and Margaret Elizabeth (Wilson) South. She married David Whitley on September 1, 1990.

Karen worked as an Office Clerk at WADI for many years. She and David enjoyed camping. She was member of the Springerton American Legion Auxiliary and the Enfield United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband David; her daughter, Samantha (Joseph) Ewing; grandchildren, Katelyn and Andrew Hunsinger; brother, David South; sister, Kaye (Al) Schroeder; niece and nephews, Maggie South, Jacob (Kaitlin) Schroeder and Keanan Schroeder; great nephew and niece, Elijah Schroeder and Mercy South. She is also survived by her aunt, Donna DeLong. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday June 17, 2019 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with Rev. Mike Buckman officiating. Burial will be in Enfield Cemetery.
