Virginia Frazier

Virginia Sue Frazier 75 of Carmi, IL passed away Sunday March 1, 2020 at her home. She was born September 9, 1944 in Carmi, the daughter of Lucian and Elizabeth Taylor. She first married Kenneth “Chad” Holland and then later married Maurice “Mouse” Frazier and they both preceded her in death.

Virginia had been employed at Joe Peacock Cleaning Services where she did industrial cleaning. Virginia loved crossword puzzles, reading mystery novels, gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Charles) Browning, Teresa Holland, Kimberly (Bobby) Bincsik, and Michelle Frazier; her sons, Chris (Connie) Holland and Joe Frazier; eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; brother, Frank (Renee) Taylor and sisters, Verla Snelling and Glenda (Alan) Brooks. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Linda Lou Taylor and Hilda Fay Theriot-Chinbing; and son-in-law, Anthony Hamblin.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Thursday March 5, 2020 at the New Beginning Church of God in Carmi with Kenny Rager officiating; burial will be in Kuykendall Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of the arrangements.
